DANCING Against Our Demons. Literally, Metaphorically, and Spiritually

DAMD CONNECTIONS

Four people and a dog lying on a mustard-colored couch and a patterned rug, sharing a fun and relaxed moment inside a cozy living room.

We Face The Hard Stuff- And Still Show Up To Dance

DAMD Connections is a community-first sober movement for anyone who wants to connect. Our name? It’s our mission: to face isolation, loneliness, and all the weirdness of recovery—not by hiding, but by dancing right through it.

Come As You Are

No pressure. No performance. Just humans as we are.

Recovery-Informed

We get it. And we built this with you in mind.

Built for Connection

We help people build friendships and rediscover joy! We’re here for the awkward, the anxious, the people for show up anyways!

Redefining “Going Out”

Through creative, sober-centered events- like speed friending, sober brunches, and soul-forward mixers.

Whiteboard calendar with dates and days of the week, with a person's hand writing on the 11th of the month.

We design experiences that don't suck. From speed-friending (like speed-dating, but nobody’s pretending to like jazz) to brunches that feed your soul and your Instagram. Our events are curated to help you connect, laugh, and build lasting recovery.

FAQ

Q: Do I have to be 100% sober to attend?
A: No. If you’re sober curious, new to recovery, or 10 years clean—we’re for anyone trying to find meaningful connection without drugs or alcohol. No judgment, just vibes.

Q: Are your events therapy?
A: Absolutely not. But they might feel therapeutic. We’re not here to fix you, we’re here to friend you.

Q: Is it weird to show up alone?
A: Only if you think being brave is weird. Most people come solo—no entourage, no emotional support roommate—and leave with new friends, good vibes, and zero regrets. You’re not the odd one out. You’re the reason we exist.
